SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT
BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING SHEET NO. l0 OF THE DISTRICT-
ING MAP TO SHOW T~E RECLASSIFICATION
WHERF~S, the Planning Commission of Santa Aha has given
notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with
Amendment Application No. 193 for change of District Classifica-
tion, and recommended to the City Council the change requested;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly
held a public hearing on said application and does now find that
public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the fol-
lowing amendment and that the uses under the new classification
will not be detrimental to the surrounding property,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, situated between Fourth and
Sixth Streets and Grand Avenue and McClay Street, and further
described as:
Beginning 150.00 feet east of the southwest corner of
Lot 9, Eastside Addition to Santa Aha; thence north
21~.00 feet; thence east 263.5 feet; thence south 142.7
feet; thence west 131.06 feet; thence south 74.33 feet;
thence west 131.5 feet to the poin~ of beginning
be reclassified from R-1 District to the R-3 District and that
Sheet No. l0 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Aha
Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
within 15 days after its adoption in one issue of the Santa Ana
Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 17~h day of September ,
1956.
