PACIFIC AND DELNI ANNEX"
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did on October 15,
1956, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited territory by Resolution
No. 56-272, which said resolutionwas regularly published as required by law, and
which said resolution gave due notice of public hearing to be held on December 3,
1956; and

proposed annexation;
NOW, TM_MHEFO~, '1'~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF,SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after due h~ing, it finds that there was no protest
to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due notice of the
time and place of hearing was given; that said territory was wholly uninhabit~
at the time the petition for annexation was filed; that said territory is contiguous to
the City of Santa Aha, California.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of Orange,
State of California, described as:
Beginning at an angle point on the Santa ~na, California city limits
line, said angle point being the northeast corner of the "Townsend
Annexation" as established by the City of Santa AnaOrdinance No.
lB41, passed on April 21, 1952, said point of beginning being a point
on the North line of Delhi Road 554.54 feet easterly from the center
line of Standard Avenue measured along the north line of Delhi Road;
thence South 89° 20' 25" East 90.00 feet to the East Right-of-way~
line of the Southern Pacific Railroad; thence South O° 34' 45" West
10.00 feet along said East line of the Railroad to the North line of
Delhi Road; thence South 89° 20' 25" East 577.88 feet along said
North line of Delhi Road; thence North 0° 33' BS" East 10.00 feet;
thence South 89° 20' 25" East 79.82 feet along said city boundary;
thence South 0° 26' 50" West 1152.00 feet; thence North 89° 20' 25"
West 800.25 feet to said City Boundary; thence North 2B° 16' 35"
East 130.00 feet along said city boundary; thence North 0° 3~' 45"
East 1032.00 feet along said city boundary to the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the City of Santa
Aha, the Santa Ana Elementary School District, Santa An~ High School District and
Santa Ana Junior College District, and said annexation is by this Ordinance
effected, approved and declared.
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within 15 days after its
adoption, in one issue of the Santa Aha Independent. This Ordinance shall take
effect BO days from and after the date of its final adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its
regular meeting held on the l?th day of December , 1956.
