SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DIS-
TRICT BOUNDARIES, AND AMENDING SHEETS NO. 4, 30,
31 AND 42 05' THE DISTRICTING ~AP TO SHOW THE RE-
CLASSIFICATION
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given notice
of and duly held a public hearing in connection with Amendment No.
210 initiated by said Commis.sion for Change of District Classification,
and recormnended to the City Council the changes herein set out; and
WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held
a public hearing on said application and does now find that public
necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following
amendment and that the uses under the new classifications will not
be detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, ~IEREFORE, ~HE CITY COUNCIL OF ~E CITY OF SilVA AJ~A DOES
O.EDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, existing in the C-1 District,
described as:
A strip of land fronting on the East side of South Sycamore
Street to a depth of 125 feet between Fairview Avenue and
Cubbon Street and a rectangular piece of land having 162
feet fronting on Occidental Street and 120 feet fronting on
Cypress Avenue;
and existing in the C-2 District described as:
A strip of land fronting on the East side of South Sycamore
Street to a depth of 125 feet between West Pomona Street and
a line 150 feet North of the Not'ch line of West Edinger Street
and a rectangu~ r piece of ~ nd having l~0 feet fronting on the
West side of Cypress Avenue and 159 feet fronting on the South
side of East Walnut Street,
be reclassified and modified by the addition of -PK thereto reclassify
said real property C-1-PK and C-2-PK respectively and that Sheets No.
4, 30, 31 and 4a of the Districting Msp of Article IX of the Santa Aha
Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
within 15 days after its adoption in one issue of the Santa Aha
Independent. This Ordinance shall t~ke effect 30 days from and after
the date of its adoption.
