NS-229 DECLARING T~E ANNEX- ATION OF TI~T CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "GOETZ KING START Ai~EX" ~g~EREAS, the City Counoil of the City of Santa Ana did on December 17, 19%6 declare its intention to annex certain unin- habited territory by Resolution No. 56-323, which said Resolution was re&~larly published as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due notice of public hearing to be held on Feb- ruary 4,1957; and ~tEREAS, at said hearing there were no objections or protests to said proposed annexation; NOW, T~QEREFORE, ~l~tE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANCTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Bat after due hearing, it finds that there was no protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said territory was wholly mninhabited at the time the petition for annexation was filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana, California; that written consent of all the o~ners was filed with the Clerk of the Council prior to the adoption of this Ordinance, agreeing that all property within said territory shall be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City contracted! prior to or existing at the time of annexation and that said property shall be so taxed. SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: Lots l0 and ll of the Lands of S. H. Finley, as shown on Record of Survey map filed in Book 2, Page 9, Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the center line of that certain unnamed street now known as King Street, adjacent to and Southeasterly of said Lots l0 and ll, said point being the intersection of said center line of King Street with the Easterly extension of the Northerly line of said Lot ll, said point also being an angle point in the boundary of the City of Santa Ana; running thence South 27° 30' 00" West 747.00 feet along the said center line of King Street, being along the boundary line of the City of Santa Ana; thence South 89° 34' 00" West 358.57 feet along the Easterly extension of the Southern line of said Lot l0 and along the Southerly line of sat~ Lot 10, Oeing along the botuuda~y line of the City of Santa Ana to the Southwest corner of said Lot 10; thence North 27° 30' 00" East 747.00 feet along the Westerly line of said Lot 10 and Lot 11 to the Northwest corner of said Lot 11, said point being in ~he boundary line of the City of Santa Aha; thence No~h 89° 34' 00" East 358.55 feet along the Northerly line of ssi d Lot 11 and the Easterly extension there- of, being al cng t~e boundary llne of the City of Santa Aha, to the point of beginning. Said bearings and distances are shown on Record of Survey filed in Book 34, Page 6, Records of Survey filed in the Office of the County Recorder of 0r~ge County, California, be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the City of Santa Aha, the Santa Ana School District, Santa Aha High School District and the Santa Aha Junior College District, and said annexation is by this O~dinance effected, approved and declared. SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas- sage of this 0~dinance a~d shall cause the same to be published once within 15 days after its adoption. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its final adoption. VICE MAYOR / I, ERMA HUNTER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of the Council of the City of Santa Ana, California; that the foregoing Ordinance was regularly introduced at the regular meeting of said Council held on the 4th day of February, 1957 and was again consid- ered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of February, 1957, and was at said meeting regularly passed and adopt- ed by said Council by the following vote, to-wit: COUNCILMEN: Dale H.
