ORDINANCE NO. NS-25~I A~iENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE
SANTA ANA 1.,~JNIC--~CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DIS-
TRICT BOUNDARIES, ~ND AJ~,ENDING SHEET NO. 16 OF
~qi~ DISTRICTING }~AP TO SHO~mj TITS HECLASSIFICATION
Mf~EREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Aha has given notice
of and duly held a public hearing in connection with Amendment No.
216 initiated by said Commission for change of Distr~ct Classification,
and recommended to the City Council the change herein set out; and
V~HEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held
a public hearing on said application and does now find that public
necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following
amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be
detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THeE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
The area bounded on the ~est by the east side of Ross Street;
on the South by the norti~ side of Eighth Street; on the Eas~
by the West side of Riverine Street; aha on the North by a
line approximately 99 feet north of smd parallel to the north
side of Eighth Street.
The area bounded on the VJest by the east side of Riverine
Street; on the South by the north side of Eighth Street; on
the East by the west side of North Birch Street; and on the
North by a line beginning at a point on the east side of
Riverine Street, approximately 99 feet north of the north
side of Eighth Street, continuing from this point 103 feet
east, parallel to the north side of Eighth Street; thence
south 9 feet; thence east l09 feet to the west side of North
Birch Street.
The area bounded onthe 'f~fest by the east side of Birch Street;
on the South by the north side of Eighth Street, on the East
by a line 12~ feet east of and parallel to the east side of
North Birch Street; and on the north by a line approximately
90 feet north cf and parallel to the north side of Eighth Street,
be reclassified from the R-3 District to P-PK District and that Sheet
No. l0 of the Districting ~ap of .~rticle IX of the Santa Aha l~tunicipal
Code be amended to show such reclassification.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pass-
age of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within
l~ days s~' ter its adoption. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of May, 1957.
