NS-257 DECt4RING T~E ANNEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN TERRIT~T~IGNATED "MONTA VISTA RAITT ANNEX" WHE~A~, the City Council of the City of Santa Au~ did on April 1, 1957 declare its intention to annex certain ~nt-Habited territory by Reso- lution No. 57-83, which said Resolution was regularly published as requir- ed by law, and which said Resolution gave due notice of public hearing to be held on May 20, 1957; amd WHEREA~, at said hearing there were no objections or protests to said proPosed annexation; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: ~ECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no protest to the annexation o f the territor~ herein described, that due notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said territory was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation was filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha, California; that written consent of all the owners was filed with the Clerk of the Council prior to the adoption of this Ordinance, agreeing that all prop- erty within said terTitory shall be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to or existing at the time of annexation and that said property shall be so taxed. SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at the Northwest corns? of Tract ~355, as per map recorded in Book 72, Pages 33, 34, 35 and 3~, Miscellaueous Maps, Records of Orange County, Ca ifornia, s~ d point being an angle point in the boundary line of the City of Santa Aha; O I ~ running thence South 0 09 10 East 1350.02 feet bong the Westerly line of said Tract 2355, said line being the centerline of Rattt Street as shown on a Replat of Santa Arm Acres, as per map thereof recorded in Book 5, Page 8, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, to a point in the South line of Fairview Avenue as shown on said Replat of Santa Aha Acres, the said centerline of Raitt Street being the boundary line of the City of Santa Aha; thence leaving the boundary line of the City of Santa Aha North 89° 57' 30m West 659.51 feet along the South line of said Fairview Avenue to the intersec- tion with the Southerly extension of the Westerly line of Lot 30 of said Santa Aha Acres, said point of intersection being an angle point in the bo.undary of the City of Santa Aha; thence North 0° ll, 50~ West 1347.78 feet along the West line of Lot 30 and Lot 12 of said Santa Aha Acres and the extension thereof to a point in the centerline of Monta Vista Avenue as shown on said Replat of Santa Aha Acres, the said Westerly lines of Lots 30 and 12 and the extension thereof being the boundary line of the City of Santa Arm; thence North 89v 50' 50" East660.54 feet along the said centerline of Mont~ Vista Avenue to the point of begimming. The sa~ d centerline of Mont~ Vista Avenue being the boundary line of the City of Santa Ans. Said bearings and distances are sho~ on a Record of Survey filed in Book 36, Page 25, be and the s-me is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the City of Santa Aha, the Sa~ ta Ana School District, Santa Ana High School District Md the Santa Aha Junior College District, and said annexation is by this Ordinmce effected, approved and declared. SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once within 15 days after its adoption.
