THAT 0~HTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED eMABURY ANNEX NO. 2"
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ann did on
June 17, 1957, declare its intention to a~uex certain, uninhabited
territory by Resolution No. 57-163, which said Resolution was rog-
ularly published as required by law, and which said Resolution gave
due notice of public hearing to be held on August 5, 1957; and
WHEREA~, at Said hearing there were no objections or protests
to said proposed annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no
protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due
notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said territory
was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation was
filed; that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness
of the City existing at the time of this annexation.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of
Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at the point of intersectic~ of the center line of
Mabu~y Street with the Westerly extension of the North line of
Lot b,.Mabury T~aot, as shown on a map thereof, ~ecorded in
Book 165, Page 300, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
said point being on the City boundary of the City of ~anta Ann,
California; thence Easterly $1ong said Westerly extension and
said North line of said Lot ~ and along the north line of Lot
5 and its easterly extension of said Mabury Tract, to the east
line of Tustin Avenue (60 feet wide); thence northerly along
said east line of Tustin Avenue to an angle point of said East
line where Tustin Avenue widens to 50 feet on the East side;
thence easterly 20 feet; thence northerly along said East line
of Tustin Avenue and its northerly extension ~o the North line
of Seventeenth Street (50 feet wide); thence westerly along said
North line of Seventeenth Street to the East line of the new
alignment of Tustin Avenue (80 feet wide) as it exists immedi-
ately North of Seventeenth Street; thence northerly along said
east line of Tustin Avenue to its intersection with the easter-
ly extension of the North llne of Seventeenth Street (80 feet
wide); thence westerly along said North line of Seventeenth Street
and its easterly and westerly extensions to the Northerly exten-
sion of the center line of said Mabury Street; thence southerly
along said northerly extension and said center line of Mabury
Street and along said City boundary to the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby armexed to and shall become a part of the City
of Santa Aha, and said annexation is I~y this Ordinance effected, ap-
proved and declared.
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas-
sage of this O~dinance and shall cause the same to be published once
within 15 days after its adoption. This Ordinance shall take effect
30 days from and after the date of its final adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of August , 1957.

Council of the City of Santa Aha, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was regularly introduced at the regular meeting of said
Council held on the ~th day of August , 1957, and was again con-
sidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 19th day
of August , 1957, and was at said meeting regularly passed and
adopted by said Council by the followLng vote, to-wit:
