UNIFORM BUILDING CODE
33O2 OF THE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 3302 of the Uniform Building Code,
1955 edition, adopted by Ordinance NS-147, is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"Sec. 3302. (a) Number of Persona. The number of per-
sons permitted in any building or portion thereof shall not
exceed those set forth in Table No. 33-A, except that where
addition~ exit facilities areprovided the occupaucy load
may be increased in accordance with Section 3302 (b) and (c).
(b) Number of Exits. Buildings, or portions thereof,
having an occupant load of more tha~ 50 shall have not ~ss
than two exits.
Buildings, or portions thereof, having an occupant load
of 500 to 999 shall have not less thau three exits.
Buildings, or portions thereof, having an occupant load
of 1000 or more shall have not less than four exits.
Basements or cellars used for other than service of the
building, shall have not less th~ two exits."
Secti°n 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days frcm and
after the~date of its adoption.
