OF THAT CERTAIN' TERRITORY DESIGNATED "FIRST AND
TUtTIN W. ANNEX"
WHEREA~, the City Council of the City of Sa~ ta Ama did on
October 21, 1957 declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited
territory by Resolution No. 57-268, which eaid .Resolution was regular-
ly published as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due
notice of public hearing to be held on December 2, 1957; and
WHEF~A.~, at said hearing there were no objections or protests
to said proposed annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no
protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due
notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said terri-
tory was uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation was
filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Sa~ ta Aha,
California; that written cons ant of all the owners of said territory
was filed with the Clerk of the Council prior to the adoption of
this Ordinar~e, agreeing that all property within said territory
shall be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of ssi d City
contracted pri~r to or existing at the time of annexation and that
said property shall be so taxed.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of
Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at an angle point in the City Boundary of the city
of Sa~ ta Ama, said angle point being the northeast corner of
Lot 15~ of the Mabury Tract as shown on a map thereof record-
ed in Book 165, page 300, Miscellaneous Records of Les Angeles
County, California, and ~,e~ing thence southerly along said
Santa Ama City Boundary and along the east line of said Lot
15, and its southerly extension to the south line of First
Street (66.00 feet wide); thence easterly, departing from said
Santa Aha City boundary, along said south line of First Street
to the northeast corner of the no~h half of the' west half of
Lot E of the Stafford and Tustin Tract as shown on a map there-
of recorded in Book 2, Page 618, Miscellaneous Records of Los
Angeles County, California; thence southerly along the east
line of said north half of the west half of Lot E to the south-
east corner of' said no~th half of the west half of Lot E; thence
easterly along the south line of the north half of said Lot
E to the southeast corner of said north half of Lot E and
to the west line of Tmstin Ave. (66.00 feet wide) and to the
Tustln City boundary; thence north 0° 17t 30" west along said
west line of Tustin Avenue, and along said Tustin City boundary
288.75 feet; thence South 89° 28, 10s West parallel to the
center line of First Street, and along said Tustin City bound-
ary 170.98 feet to an angle point in said Tustin City boundary;
' thence North 0° 09' 00" West along said T~.,stin City boundary ,
396.50 feet to the north line of First Street (66.00 feet wide}
and to ~ angle point in said Tustin City boundary; thence west
along the north line of First Street and along said Tustin City
boundary to a point which is dis~tant westerly 235.80 feet from
the west line of Tustin Avenue (60.00 feet wide) as it exists
north of First Street; thence north al cng said Tustin City
boundary 200.00 feet to an angle point in said Tustin City
boundary; ,t~ ence northerly, departing from said Tustin City
boundary, along a line parallel with the east line of the west
half of Lot 14 of said Mabumy Tract to a line parallel with
and 270.00 feet southerly f~om the south line of Fourth~..~eet;
thence westerly along said line parallel with the south line
of Fourth Street to said east line of the west half of Lot
14; thence nort/Qerly along said east line of the west half of
Lot 14 to the south line of Fourth Street and to the City
Boundary of the City of Santa Aha, California; thence westerly
along said south line of Fourth Street and along said Santa
Aha City boundary to the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the
City of Santa Aha, and said annexation is by this Ordinance effected,
approved and declared.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its final adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of December
1957.
