ORDINANCE NO. AMENDING ARTICLE IX 0F THE
SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADD A NEW SUBPARAGRAPH
(c) TO SECTION 9111
WHEREAS, heretofore the City Council requested the Planning
Commission to consider and submit its recommendation upon the amend-
ment hereinbelow set out, and said planning Commission gave due notice
and regularly held a public hearing thereon on December 23, 1957, and
recommended to the City Council that said amendment be not made, and
%5{EREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held
a public hearing on the question of such amendment on January 6, 1958,
and after due hearing now finds that to clarify the intent and pur-
pose of the language in SECTION 9111, M-1 (Manufacturing District)
Uses Penmitted; that a new subparagraph to be numbered "(c)" should
be added at the end of Subparagraph (b) of said Section.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Article IX of the Santa Ana M~uuicipal Code be
and it is hereby a ~ended by amending SECTION 9111 thereof by the addi-
tion of a new subparagraph to be numbered "(c)", at the end of Sub-
paragraph (b) thereof in words and figures as follows:
"(c). Nothing herein is intended to prohibit the compounding or
processing of raw materials in the course of fabrication or manu-

camelback, tire repair material, sporting and athletic equipment
and like articles made wholly or in part of rubber, latex or
~ubber-like materials."
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.
