MLU~ICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES
AND ANENDING SHEET NO. 12 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW
THE RECLASSIFICATION
WHEREAS, the Planning Con~nission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing in connection with a change of District Class-
ification initiated by said Planning Commission, and has recommended
the change hereinbelow set out, and
WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly
held a public hearing on said application and does now find that
public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the foll-
owing amendment and that the uses under the new classification will
not be detrimental to the surrounding property.
NOW, ~tE~{EFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point 275 feet north and 150 feet west of the
northwest corner of Roe Drive and Main Street; thence north
174.10 feet; thence west 1040 feet to the Freeway; thence
southeasterly along the Freeway, approximately l~0 feet, to
a point, thence easterly to the point of beginning,
be reclassified from R-1 and R-2 to the C-2-PK District and that
Sheet No. 12 of the Districting ~ap of Article IX of the Santa Aha
51unicipal Code be amended t~ show such reclassification.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on
1958.
