BUILDING CODE
TO AMEND SECTION
3302 OF THE UNIFORM
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 3302 of the Uniform Building Code,
1955 edition, adopted by Ordinance NS-147, is hereby amended by add-
ing a new Section 8112.1 to the Santa Ana Municipal Code to read as
follows:
SECTION 8112.1. Occupancy Load.
Section 3302 of said Uniform Code is amended to read as
follows:
(a) Number of Persons. The number of persons permitted
in any buil~g or portion thereof shall not exceed those
set forth in TaBle No. 33-A, except that where additional
exit facilities are provided the occupancy load may be in-
creased in accordance with Section 3302 (b) and (c).
(b) Number of Exits. Buildings, or portions thereof,
having an occupant load '~'f more than 50 shall have not less
than two exits.
Buildings, or portions thereof, having an occupant load
of 500 to 999 shall have not less than three exits.
Buildings, or portions thereof, having an occupant load
of 1000 or more shall have not less than four exits.
Basements or cellars used for other than service of the
building, shall have not less than two exits.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.

at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of February , 1958~
