OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO A~END THE UNIFOEN
PLUMBING CODE, 1955 EDITION
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ORDAINS AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 2 of Article VIII of the S~ta Ana
Municipal Code is hereby amended by amending Section 8208 thereof to
amend the provisions of Section 2.8 of the Uni~ rm Plumbing Code to
read as follows:
"Sec. 2.8 - Issuance of Certificate of Qualification.
Journeym~ Plumber's Certificates of ~ualification shall be
issued to every person who makes application for such certifi-
cate, pays the required fee and successfully passes the examin-
ation conducted by the Board of Plumber Examiners, provided,
however, that the Board or Administrative Auth~ ity shall issue
such a Certificate to any person who makes application therefor,
pays the required fee and possesses and presents to the Board
or Administrative Authority a valid Journeyman Plumber's Cert-
ificate of Qualification issued to him by a Board of Plumber
Examiners legally constituted in another jurisdiction."
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.
