CERTAIN TERRIT0-~SIGNA'~'~ "McFADDEN AND LYON S. E. ANNEX"
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did on Febru-
ary 3, 1958 initiate proceedings for and declare its intention to annex
certain uninhabited territory by adopting Resolution 58-32, which said
Resolution was regularly published as required by law, and which said
Resolution gave due notice of public hearing to be held on March 17,
1958; aha
WHEP~AS, at said hearing there were no objections or protests to
said proposed annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF S~TA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no
protest to the annexation of the terTitory herein described, that due
notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said territory
was u~b~abited at the time said Resolution No. 58-32 was adopted; that
said territory shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City
existing at the time of this annexation.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of
· Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of McFadden Street 10.00
feet westerly from the monumented intersection of the center
line of said McFadden Street and the center llne of Lyon Street,
said point of beginning being an angle point in the City bound-
ary of the City of Sm ta Ana, California; Sad running thence
South 89° 00' 05"~West along smid City boundary and along said
center line of I..~c~adden Street 34.~0 feet to an angle point in
said City boundary; thence South 00° ~2' 45" West along said
City boundary 996.78 feet to the !~ortn line of Section 20, Town-
ship 5 South, R~ge 9 West, San Bernardino Base sad Meridian;
thence departing from ssi d City boundary, easterly in a straight
line 1155.00 feet more or less to a point on the center line of
Ritchie Street, which is 990.00 feet southerly, measured along
said cen~er line of Ritchie Street, from the center line of said
M~Fadden Street; thence continuing easterly along the extension
of last described course to the East line of Ritchie Street (50.00
feet wide); thence northerly along said East line of Ritchie
Street 500 feet more or less to the southwesterly right-of-way
line of the Atchison, Topeka aud Sm ta Fe Railroad; thence North-
westerly along ssld southwesterly right-of-way line of said rail-
road to the North line of said ~!cFadden Street (40.00 feet wide);
thence westerly along said North line of McFadden Street to a
point 10.00 feet West of the monumented center line of Lyon Street,
and to said City boundary; thence southerly along said City
boundar~y 20.00 feet to the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the
City of Ssa ta Ana, and said ~nnexation is by this Ordinance effected,
approved and declared.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its final adoption..

Council of the City of Saata Ana, California; that the foregoiD~
Ordinance was regularly introduced at the regular meeting of said

day of April , 1958, and was at said meeting regularly passed
and adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
