t(g) No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed greater than 35 miles
per ho~r on West Seventeenth Street between Main Street and the east
bank of the Santa Ann River Channel.
#(h) No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed greater than 35 miles
per ho~tr on East Seventeenth between Main Street and the west property
line of ~right Street; nor at a speed greater than 45 miles per ho~r
between the west p~operty line of ~ight Street and the west p~operty
line of Tustin Avenue.
#(i) No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed greater than 45 miles
per ho~r on North Bristol Street between the south property line of
West Memory Lane and a point 1200 feet south of the centerline of
West Memory Lane; nor at a speed greater than 35 miles per hour between
a point 1200 feet south of the centerline of West Memory Lane and
First Street.
"(J) No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed greater than 35
miles per yhour on South Bristol Street between ~est First Street
and the north p~perty line of West Delhi Road; nor at a speed greater
· than 40 miles per hoax between the north property line of West Delhi
Road and e point 1200 feet south of the North property line of West
Delhi Road.
"(1) No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed greater than 35
miles per hour on West Fairview Avenue between the west property
line of South Bristol Street and the east property line of South
~all~aa Street.
~(n) No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed greater than 35
miles per ho~r on East First Street from North French Street to
the easterly City Limits approximately 100 feet west of Tustin
Avenue."
SECTION 2. That under the authority contained in Section 511.3 of
the Vehicle Code of the State of California, and after engineering
and traffic investigation, and Council determination, Section 3280
of the Santa Aha Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding four
new subsections thereto to he designated "(s), (t), (u), and
(v)", in words and figures as follows=
"(s) No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed greater than
35 miles per ho~Lr On West Fourth Street from the east property
line of North Flower Street to the east property line of North
Artesia Street.
"(t) No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed greater than 35
miles per hour on East Fourth Street between the east property
line of North Mortimer to a point 800 feet east of the centerline
of North Nab~r¥ Street as North Mah~try Street exists on the
south side of Fotl~th Street.
"(U) No person shall drive a vehtele at a speed greater than 35
miles per hour on North Broadway between the north property line
of West Charlotte Street and a point 250 feet north of the centerline
of West Seventeenth Street.
'(v) No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed greater than 45
miles per hour on East McFadden Street between the west property
line of Lyon Street and the west property line of South McCla¥ Street;
nor at a speed greater than 35 miles per hour between the west
property line of South McClay Street and the west property line
of South Halladay Street.'
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days fro~ and after the
date of its adoption.
