NS-368 AS~DING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANk NUNICIPAL CODE TO C~w~NGE DISTP~[CT CLASSIFICATION ON APPLI- CATION NO. 266 AND TO A~END ~SECTIONAL DISTRICT N~P 22-~-10 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing in connection with Amendment Application No, 266, filed by Louis Struikman, and recon~ended to the City Council the reclassification of property lying approximately 450 feet west of the center line of Suiivau Street with frontage of 800 feet on the South side of Edinger Street and a depth of approximately 420 feet; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice and regularly held a public hearing on said amendment and does now find that public necessity, convenience ~nd general welfare require the following amendment, aud that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; CODNCI~ NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY/OF ~{L CITY OF S~TA AltA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, California, described as: The northerly ten acres of the following described p~operty: That portion of Lots l, 2 and 3 of Tract No. 1024, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 33, page 33, Niscellaneous Naps, records of said Orange County, and that portion of the East half of Section 2 2, Township 5 South, Range l0 West, SBB&N, particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point 25.94 feet North 15° 30' East of the Northeast corner of said Lot l, said point also being the intersection of the center line of Edinger Street with the agreed boundary line between the property of Santa Ana Gardens, Inc. and D. H. Dunkin, as described in the agreement recorded February 6, 1924 in book 505, page 376 of Deeds, records of said Orange County; running thence North 89° 30' East 552.00 feet along the center line of Edinger Street to an old stake at the Northwest corner of Tract No. 506, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 17, pages 26 and 27, of Niscellan- eous Maps, records of said Orange County; thence South 15© 17' West 1330.82 feet to the Southwest corner of said Tract No. 506; thence North 89° 07' East 391.24 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 2 of Tract No. 1024, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 33, page 33, Niscellaneous Naps, Records of said Orange County; thence South 15o 05' lC" West 1179.97 feet along the East line of said Lot 2 to the Northwest corner of Lot 23, Block I of Tract No. 507, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 20, pages ll and 12 of Miscellaneous Naps, records of said Orange County; thence South 89o 07' West 14.87 feet; thence North 0° qO' West q~.hq feet; thence South 89 30 West lllO.00 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 18 of said Block I of Tract No. 507; said point also being the Southwest corner of said Lot 2 of Tract No. 1024; thence South 0° 30' East 178.21 feet to the Southeasterly corner of Lot 3 of said Tract No. 1024; thence South 89u 40' West 55.25 feet along the South line of said Lot 3; thence North 0° 30' West 178.05 feet; thence North 15° 30' East 2552.33 feet to a point in the Northerly line of Lot i of said Tract No. lO24, said point being located South 69° 30' East 33.49 feet from a~ angle point in the Northerly line of said Lot l; thence South 69° 30' East 202.07 feet to an angle point in said Northerly line of Lot l; thence North ~9° 30' East 11.44 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot l, thence North 15° 30' East 25.94 feet to the point of beginning, be reclassified from R~l District to the C-1-PK District, and that Sectional District Map 22-5-10 be amended and approved in accordance with Exhibit "B" to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
