MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON
APPLICATION NO. 269, AND AD01~ING AND AMENDING SECTIONAL
DISTRICT MAP ~-~-9, EXHIBITS A AND B
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held public hearings in connection wit~ the adoption of Sectional
District Map 5-5-9, Exhibit A, and recommended its adoption, and on
Amendment Application No. 269 for change of districting classifica-
tion of property at the northwest corner of Seventeenth Street and
Old Tustin Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held
a public hearing on the question of the adoption of said maps and
s~id change in district classification, au d does now find that pub-
lic necessity, convenience and gener& welfare require the following
adoption and amendment, and that the uses under the new classifica-
tion will not be detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Sectional District Map 5-5-9,
hereby adopted and amended by Exhibit B to show the
lations in the a~eas affected thereby, to show the reclassification
herein below ordained and to modify certain boundary lines to
the same to property lines.
SECTION 2. That Districting Map 8' is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That the res1 property in the City of S~ta Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the north line of Seventeenth Street,
80.00 feet wide, 320.10 feet westerly, measured along said
north line, from the west line of 01d Tustin Avenue, 60.00
feet wide; and running thence north along the west line of
that certain property conveyed to Elmer LeRoy Benign and wife
as recorded August l~ i 946, in Book 1444, Page 2Ob, Official
Records of Orange County, California, 719.00 feet more or
less to the southwesterly line of the "Roysl and Rosetta
Mueller" property as shomu on a Record c~ Survey Map, filed
in Book 6, Page 2, Records of Survey in the office of the
County Recorder~of Orange County, California; thence South
48° 30' East 128.70 feet; thence South 77° 45' East 63.36
feet; thence South 88°.45' East 148.50 feet to the west line
of old Tustin Avenue, b0.O0 feet wide; thence South 0° 21'
45" East 621.32 feet along said west line to the north line
of said Seventeenth Street, 80.00 feet wide; thence west along
said north line 320.10 feet to the point of beginning,
