A~DING SECTION 7205 OF THE SANTA ANA ~JNICIPAL CODE R~LATING TO E~_rVEWAY

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA AMA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. That Section 7205, subsection C., subsection (c), shall be amended
to read as follows:
(c) Over 25.00 feet in width $10.00

SECTION 2: That an additie~al section shall be added to Article VII, Chapter 2,
as follows:
SECTION 7216: The Director of Public Works may not issue a permit for a
driveway unless the following conditions are met:
A, The driveway may not encroach upon a cur~ return that has a radius of
22.00 feet er less. The driveway may net encroach more than 5.00 feet
upon a surb return that has a radius greater tham 22.00 feet.
B. The driveway must not be located closer than 22.00 feet measured along
the curb from an~ existing or proposed driveway entering a parcel of
land under a single ownership.
C. The maximma D-~er of driveways permitted to a parcel of land under
a single ownership shall be determfned by the width of the lot
frontage on the street as follows:

(b) 51.O0 feet to 199.99 feet
(c) BOo.on feet to 359.99 feet
(d) 360.00 feet to 519.99 feet

Do The maximum frontage cf a lot permitted to be a driveway shall be
50 percent.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date ef
its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of SantaA~a at its regular
meeting held on the ~rd day of August , 1959.
