ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHAN~E DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON
AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 277, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL
DISTRICT ~AP 23-5-10, EXHIBIT B
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 277 initiated by
said Com~ission to change the district classification of certain
property and to amend Sectional District Map 23-5-10, Exhibit B; and
WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and duly held a
public hearing on said questions of changing district classification
and amending said Sectional District Map to show said changes, and
does now find that public necessity, convenience and general wel-
fare require the following amendment, and that the uses under the
new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Sectional District Map 23-5-10, Exhibit B,
is hereby amended to show the reclassification hereinbelow ordained.
SECTION 2. That the real property int he City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, hereinbelow bounded is hereby
reclassified as indicated after the description of the boundaries
next hereinbelow set out:
(a) Area bounded by Edinger Street, Greenville Street,
Center Street, and the easterly extension of Occidental
Street, from the R-1 District to the R-2 snd C-1-PK
Districts.
(b) The northeast corner of the intersection of Glenwood
Place and Greenville Street (Approximately 520 feet
by ll00 feet), from the C-1 District to the R-1 District.
(c) Properties fronting on the west side of Greenville
Street, between Edinger Street and a point 150 feet
south of the center line of Occidental Street, from
the R-1 District to the R-2 and C-1-PK Districts.
(d) Properties fronting on the south side of Edinger
Street, to between the east line of Tract 2511 and
Greenville Street, from the R-1 District to the R-2
and C-1-PK Districts.
(e) Properties fronting on the north side of Edinger Street
between Sullivan Street and a point 270 feet east of
the center line of Gordon Place, from the R-1 District
to the C-1-PK District,
and that said Sectional District Map 23-5-10, Exhibit B,
exact locations of the various district classifications
hereby.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take
after the date of its adoption.
