AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA
ANA NUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS ON
ANEND~ENT APPLICATION NO. 280 AND TO AMEND SECTIONAL DIS-
TriCT MAP 9-5-10, EXHIBIT B
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission duly held a public hearing
on notice, on Amendment Application No. 280, and recorm~ended the
reclassification of property and amendment of Sectional District
I~ap affecting property at the Southeast corner of Fifth and Verano
Streets; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has regularly held a public hearing
on notice, on the question of said a~endments, and does now find
that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the
following amendments, and that the uses under the new classifica-
tion will not be detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE~ T~E CITY COUNCIL OF ~E CITY OF S~NTA A~A DOES
0RDA~N AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Sau ta Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, bounded on the South by a
line 205 feet South of au d parallel to the center line of Fifth
Street; bounded on the East by a line 190 feet East of and parallel
to the center line of Verano Street; and bounded on the West and
North respectively, by Verano Street and Fifth Street, is hereby
reclassified from the R-1 District to the
Sectional District Nap 9-5-10, Exhibit B,
said reclassification.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30
after the date of its adoption.
