HomeMy WebLinkAboutNS-409ORDINANCE NO. .NSr40~ AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA ~JNICI?AL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMEND~.NT APPLICATION NO. 284, AND ~ENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT NAP 16-~-lO, EXHIBIT D WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing in connection with a change in District clas- sification hereinbelow set out, to reclassify property on the South side of Bol___s~ Avenue, East of Newhope Street, and recommended that said change be disallowed; and WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing, on notice, to consider such change and does find that public necessity, convert- ience and general welfare require the following amendment, and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF S~TTA ~A DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha presently zoned R-1 be reclassified as follows: The parcel of land at the Southeast corner of Newhope Street and Bolsa Avenue, bounded on t he North by the center line of Bolsa Avenue, on the East by a line parallel to and dis- tant 150 feet, measured at right angles from the center line of Newhope ~treet, on the South by a line South of and dis- tant 250 feet, measured at right angles from the center line of Bolsa Avenue, and on the West by Newhope Street, be reclassified to the C-1-PK District. The parcel of land bounded on t he North by a line South of and 250 feet from the center line of Bolsa Avenue, on the East by a line 150 feet East of the center line of Now~a~pe Street, on the South by a line 660 feet South of the center line of Bolsa Avenue, and on the West by Newhope Street, be reclassified to the R-2 District. The parcel bounded on the Nort~ by the South line of Bolsa Avenue, on the East by a line 024 feet West of the center line of Harbor Boulevard, on the South by a line 210 feet South of the center line of Bolsa Avenue, and on the West by a line 150 feet East of the cente~ line of Newhope Street, be reclassified to the C-2-PK District. The irregular shaped parcel bounded on the North by a line 210 feet South of the center line of Bolsa Avenue to a point 624 feet East of the cen~er line or,Harbor B~ulevard; ~thence South parallel to Harbor Boulevard 120 feet,~thence due East 264 feet;~,thence South parallel to the center line of Harbor Boulevard 1010 feet; thence West to a point 660 feet East of the center line of Newhope Street; thence North 680 feet; thence West 510 feet; thence North 45© feet to said Nc~th boundary line, which is 210 feet South of the center line of Bolsa Avenue, be reclassified to the M-1 Distr~ct; That Sectional District Map 16-5-10, Exhibit D, is hereby amended to show said reclassification. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the Ana at its regGlar meeting held on the 2nd day of 1959.
