ANA ~UNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION
ON A~tETTD~ENT APPLICATION NO. 290 AND TO ANEND SECTIONAL
DISTRICT ~i,~3LP 8-~-10, FXCqIBIT B
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission gave notice of md duly held
a public hearing in connection with an amendment application initi-
ated by said Commission, mhd recormuended the change in District
Classification hereinbelow set out; and
WHEI~EAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on said question and does now find that public necessity, conven-
ience and general welfare require the following amendr~ent, aud that
tae uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to
the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY C 0UNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES O?OAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, California, bounded on the North by a line paral-
lel to and distant northerly 145 feet from the center line of Silver
Drive, on the East by Verano Street, on the South by Bolsa Avenue,
and on the West by a line parallel to and distsnt westerly l~0 feet
from the center line of Verano Street, is hereby reclassified from
the R-1 District to the C-1-PK District; and
That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of
Orange, California described as: Beginning at the intersection of
the center line of Verano Street with the South line of Hazard
Avenue; thence ~esterly along said South line of Hazard Avenue 221
feet; thence Southerly parallel to the center line of Verano Street
~8~ feet; thence West to the Westerly boundary of the City of S~ta
Aha, to the North line of Fifth Street; thence Easterly along the
North line of Fifth Street to a potnt~ said point being l~0 feet
West of the center line of Verano Street; thence Northerly and
parallel to the center line of Verano Street to a point, said point
being 145 feet North of the center line of Silver Drive; thence
Easterly to the center line of Verano Street; thence Northerly to
the point of beginning, is hereby reclassified f~om the R-1 District
to the R-2 District, and that Sectional District ~ap S-Z-10, Exhibit
B, is hereby amended and adopted to show said reclassifications.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.

Ana at its regular meeting held on the ~
