NYGNICIPAL CODE' TO CHAh~E DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON ANEN~-
~ENT APPLICATION NO. 306 FILED BY THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
EDISON COMPANY AND AI~ENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT NAP 17-5-9
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has duly held a public hearing
on notice, and recommended the changes in district classification
hereinbelow set out; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
said question and does now find that public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendments, and that the
uses under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the
surroundi~ property;
NOW, THE~FORE, THE CITY COUNCIL 0F THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
That portion of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter
of Section l?, Township 5 South, Raage 9 West, in the land al-
lotted to N. 0. Stafford and C. Tustin in Decree of Partition
of the Rancho S~ntiago de Santa Ana recorded in Book "B" of
Judgments of the l?th Judicial District Court of Los Angeles
County, located in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Section l?; thence
East 423.50 feet; thence North 990.00 feet, parallel with the
West line of said Section, to the center line of NcFadden
Street; thence West 42 .50 feet to the West line of said Section;
thence South 990.00 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPT the North 2~.00 feet thereof included within NcFadden
Street and the West 25.00 feet thereof included within ~cClay
Street,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the ~-l District, and
