THAT CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "MEMORY LANE AND
BAKER NORTH NO. 2 ANNEX"
WHEreAS, the city council of the City of Santa Ana did, on
March 21, 1960, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited
territory by Resolution No. 60-50, which said Resolution was regu-
larly published as required by law, and gave~due notice of a public
hearing to be held May 2, 1960, which said hearing was regularly
held on said notice and on mailed notices as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after due hearing it finds there was no
protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that
due notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said
territory was uninhabited at the time said Resolution No. 60-50
was adopted initiating this procedure; that said territory is con-
tiguous to the City of Santa Aha and that said territory shall not
be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City existing at the time
of this annexation.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the South line of Lot 14 of Ports
Borden and Sidwell Tract, as per map recorded in Book 4,
Page 624 of Miscellaneous Records in the Office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, 538.00 feet Westerly
from the Southeast corner of said Lot 14, said point of be-
ginning being a point on the City boundary of the City of
Santa Aha, California, and running thence Westerly along
the South line of said Lot 14, and along said City boundary,
and along the survey center line of Memory Lane, 50.00 feet
to an angle point in said City boundary; thence Northerly
along said City boundary 202.00 feet to an angle point in
said City boundary; thence Westerly along said City bound-
ary 150.00 feet to an angle point in said City boundary;
thence Northerly, departing from said City boundary along
a line parallel with the East line of said Lot 14, 398.00
feet; thence Easterly along a line parallel with the South
line of said Lot 14, 352.00 feet; thence Southerly along a
line parallel with said East line of Lot 14, 398.00 feet to
an angle point in said City boundary; thence Westerly
along said City boundary 152.00 feet to an angle point in
said City boundary; thence Southerly 202.00 feet along
said City boundary to the point of beginning,
be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Santa Ana, and
said annexation is by this Ordinance effected, approved and de-
clared.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 16th ~day of May , 1960.

Ordinance was regularly introduced at its regular meeting held on
