SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 313
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-9 (EXHIBIT
313 A)
WHEREAS, Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 313 initiated by
said Commission, and recommended the changes in District classifi-
cation hereinbelow set out; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
said question and does now find that public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendment, and that the
use under the new classificatio~ will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, bounded as follows:
Bounded on the East by a line approximately 200 feet
West of the center line of Wright Street, on the North
by the South line of Tracts 1630 and 1411, on the West
by a line approximately 250 feet East of the center line
of McClay Street, and on the Southby a line approxi-
mately 150 feet North of First Street,
is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the C-2 and R-2 B
Districts as shown on Sectional District Map 8-5-9 (Exhibit 313 A),
and said Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended as corrected
to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of September , 1960.
