SANTA ANA'MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSI-
FICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 316 AND AMENDING
SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 11-5-10 (EXHIBIT 316 B)
WHEREAS, Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on ~endment Application No. 316 initiated by
said Commission, and recommended the changes in District classifi-
cation hereinbelow set out; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
said question and does now find that public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendment, and that the
use under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, bounded as follows:
parcel 1. On the East by Townsend Street, on the South by
First Street, on the West by a line parallel to and
distant 540 feet Westerly, measured at right angles from
the centerline of Townsend Street, and on the North by a
line parallel to and distant 602.32 feet Northerly,
measured at right angles from the surveyed centerline of
First Street,
Parcel 2. On the East by a line parallel to and distant
750 feet Westerly, measured at right angles from the
centerline of Townsend Street, on the South by First
Street, on the East by a line parallel to and distant
1364 feet Westerly, measured at right angles from the
centerline of Townsend Street, and on the North by a line
parallel to and distant 232 feet Northerly, measured at
right angles from the surveyed centerline of First Street,
is hereby reclassified from the M-1 and C-1 Districts to the C-2
District as shown on Sectional District Map 11-5-10 (Exhibit 316 B),
and said Sectional District Map is hereby amended to show said
reclassification.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
