SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSI-
FICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 318 AND AMENDING
SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 30-5-9 (EXHIBIT 318-A)
WHEREAS, Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 318 initiated by
said Commission, and recommended the changes in District classifi-
cation hereinbelow set out; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
said question and does now find that public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendment, and that the
use under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, bounded as follows:
On the East by a line 150 feet East of the centerline
of Evergreen Street; on the South by the Southern Pacific
Railroad; on the West by Main Street; and on the North
by Delhi Road. Excepting therefrom that area now zoned
R-1 bounded'on the East by Maple Street; on the South
by Central Avenue; on the West by a line 140 feet West of
the centerline of Orange Avenue; and on the North by
Delhi Road, which shall remain in the R-1 District,
is hereby reclassified from the R-i, R-2, C-2 and M-1 Districts to
the R-2, R-2B and C-1 Districts as shown on Sectional District Map
30-5-9 (Exhibit 318-A) and said Sectional District Map is hereby
amended to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of 0~tober , 1960.
