SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSI-
FICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 319ANDAMENDING
SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAPS 27-5-10 AND 34-5-10
(EXHIBITS 319-A AND 319-B)
WHEREAS, Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public.earing on Amendment Application No. 319 initiated by
said CommissiQn, and recommended the changes in District classifi-
cation hereinbelow set out; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
said question and does now find that public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendment, and that the
use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, dgscribed as follows:
Beginning at a point on the centerline of Segerstrom
Avenue located approximately 440 feet East of the centerline
of Harbor Boulevard; thence Easterly along the centerline of
Segerstrom Avenue to a point intersecting the centerline of
proposed Fairview Avenue, thence Southerly along the center-
line of proposed Fairview Avenue to a point where the center-
line of proposed FairView Avenue intersects the centerline
of proposed Talbert Avenue relocation as per Precise Plan
SH-iO2-A; thence Westerly and Northwesterly along the center-
line of proposed Talbert~ relocation as per Precise Plan
SH-102-A to the Westerly boundary of the Orange County Flood
Control District right-of-way; thence Southerly along
the Westerly boundary of the Orange County Flood Control
District right-of-way to the North boundary line of
Huntzinger Avenue right-of-way; thence Westerly along said
North boundary line of Huntzinger Avenue right-of-way to a
point approximately 1270 feet Easterly from the centerline
of Harbor Boulevard; thence Northerly along a line parallel
to and located approximately 1270 feet from the centerline
of Harbor Boulevard~to a point located approximately 1292
feet from said North boundary of Huntzinger Avenue right-of-
way; thence Westerly and at right angles to said line for a
distance of approximately 187 feet; thence Northerly and at
right angles to said line for a distance of approximately
223 feet; thence Westerly and at right angles to said line
for a distance of approximately 663.52 feet to the boundary
line between the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana and the Rancho

Las Bolsas; thence North 8° 15' 00" East along said
boundary line for a distance of approximately 387 feet;
thence North 80° 26' 30" East for a distance of
approximately 66.73 feet; thence North 33° 04' 00" East
for a distance of approximately 155.12 feet; thence
North 1° 19' 45" West for a distance of approximately
83 feet; thence North 88° 39' 10" East for a distanCe
of approximately 57 feet; thence North 33° 04' 00" East,
continuing to the centerline of proposed Talbert Avenue
relocation per Precise Plan SH-102-A; thence Westerly and
continuing along said centerline of proposed Talbert Avenue
reloca~on per Precise Plan SH-102-A to a point located
approximately 440 feet from the centerline of Harbor
Boulevard; thence Northerly along a line located approxi-
mately 440 feet from and parallel to the centerline of
Harbor Boulevard to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the M-1 District as
shown on Sectional District Maps 27-5-10 and 34-5-10 (Exhibits 319-A
and 319-B, respectively), and said Sectional District Maps are
hereby amended to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting~held on the 3r4 day of 0c%o~er , 1960.
