SANTA ANA ~UNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSI-
FICATION ON ~ENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 324 AND AMENDING
SECTIONAL DISTRICT ~P 9-5-10 (EXHIBIT 324-A)
WHEREAS, Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 324, filed by
,.~~,~1arv F. Long and recommended the changes in District classifi-
cations hereinbelow set out; and
Wt~EREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
said question and does now find that public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendment, and that the
use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI%~ OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the centerline of Hazard Avenue
located approximately 660 feet Westerly from the centerline
of Harbor Boulevard; thence Southerly along a line parallel
to said centerline of Harbor Boulevard for a distance of
approximately 660 feet; thence Easterly along a line located
approximately ~60 feet from and parallel to the centerline
of Hazard Avenue for a distance of approximately 660 feet
to the centerline of Harbor Boulevard; thence Northerly
along the centerline of Harbor Boulevard for a distance of
approximately 660 feet to the centerline of Hazard Avenue;
thence $~esterly along the centerline of Hazard Avenue for
a distance of approximately 660 feet to the point of
beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the C-2 and R-1 Districts to the C-4
(Planned Shopping Center) District, as shown on Sectional District
~lap 9-5-10 (Exhibit 324-A), and said Sectional District ~lap is
hereby ~lended to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall ta~e effect thirty days
from and after the date cf its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 17~1 day of 0cteber , 1960.
