?~HEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and
duly held a public hearing on Dnuendment Application Ko. 323,
initiated by Elbert C. ~issildine, and reco~%ended denial of said
Amendment A~plication 323 as submitted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on said question and does now find that public necessity, convenience
and general welfare requires the following amendment, and that the
use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.

That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
State of California, described as:
through 23, inclusive, and Lots 40 through
52, inclusive, Block B, Tract 531,
is hereby reclassified from the ~1 and R2 Districts to the C1 District,
and that Sectional District ~[ap 24-5-10 is hereby amended to show
said reclassification.
SECTIO~ 2. This Ordinance shall ta]ze effect 30 days from
and after the date of its adoption.
