HomeMy WebLinkAboutNS-495 W~h~,o, the ~lty Council of the City of Santa Ana did, on Noven~3er 21, 19~0, declare its intention to ann%x certain uninhabited territory by Resolution No. 50-234, larly published as required by law, hearing to be held January 3, 19~1, held on said notice and on mailed notices as which said ~esolution was regu- and gave due notice of a public which said hearin~ was regularly required by law. NO~', THEREFORE, THE CIfY COUNCIL OF THE CI'~i~' SANTA Ai~ DOES Ot~AIN AS POLLO%rS: SECTION 1. T~at after due hearing it finds there was no protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said terri- tory was uninhabited at the t~ae said Resolution No. 60-234 was adopted initiating this procedure; 'that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha and that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City existin8 at the t~ae of this annexation. SECI'ION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: Co~'aencing at the intersection of the center lines of Seventeenth Street and ~right Street as shown on a Record of Survey i,iap filed in Dook S, Pa~e 24, kecords of Surveys, in the office o~ the County ~ecorder of Orange County, California, and running thence North 00~ 02' East along said center line of %~right Street 1S0.00 feet to an angle point in the City boundary of the City of Santa Ana, California and to the true point of beginning; thence continuing ~orth 00° 02' ~ast along said center line of Wright Street and along said City boundary a distance of 348.00 feet; thence North ~9° 53' East departing from said City boundary a distance of 830.S3 feet; thence South 00° 02' East a distance of 525.~J feet to said center line of Seventeenth Street and to said City boundary; -thence South S9° 43' 30" West along said center line of Seventeenth Street and along said City boundary a distance of 323.2~ feet to an angle point in said City boundary; thence North 00° 02' East along said City boundary !$0.00 feet to an angle point in said City boundary; thence South ~9° 43' 30" West a~on9 said Cihy boundary a distance of 50¥.00 feet to · the true point of beginning, -1- be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Santa Aha and to %~rd No. 1 in said City, and said annexation is by this Ordinance effected, approved and declared. For the purpose of tax segregation of this territory the designation 'that applies is "Santa Ana City - 1957 ~: 195S Annexes" SEC'~IO~ 3. ~i~nis Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
