SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSI-
FICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 336 AND
AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 9-5-10 (EXHIBIT
AA 336 B)
WHERKAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 336, initiated by
ROGER W. SCHIVELEY, for a change of District classification fro~ the
R-2 District to the C-1 District, and said Commission has determined
that the change of District classification should be from the R-2
District to the C-5 District (the C-5 District being a more restric-
tive classification than the C-1 District); and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does'now find that public necessity, convenience and general
welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the
new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point where the center line of Fifth street
intersects the center line of Verano Street~ thence Northerly
along the center line of Verano Street for a distance of
330 feet, more or less; thence Easterly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Fifth Street for a
distance of 156 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along a
line approximately parallel to the center line of Verano
Street for a distance Of 330 feet, more or less, to the
center line of Fifth Street; thence Westerly along the center
line of Fifth Street for a distance of 156 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the C-5 District, and
Sectional District Map 9-5-10 (Exhibit AA 336 B) is hereby amended
to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.
