CLASSIFICATION ON ~%~END~WLENT APPLICATION NO. 338
AND AI4ENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 36-4-10

~H{EREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 338, i~itia~d by
said c_ommi~sion, for a change of District classification from the
A-1 District to the 100-Ci-10,000 District, and said Commission has
recommended approval of said Amendment Application; and
W~EREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment, and that the uses
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CI~fY CO~JCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES OPd)AIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the city boundary of the City
of Santa Ana, California, said point being on the Southeast
corner of Lot 25 of ~e Potts, Borden and Sidwell Tract as
shown on a map thereof recorded in Miscellaneous Records,
Book 4, Page 624, records of Los Angeles County, California,
said point being at the intersection of the center lines of
Memory Lane and Bristol Street; and running thence Easterly
along said city boundary and along said center line of
Memory Lane, 537 feet more or less to an angle point in said
city boundary; thence Northerly along a line parallel to the
East line of Lot 14, .of said Potts, Borden and Sidwell Tract,
and along said city boundary 535.92 feet; thence departing
from said city boundary Westerly along a straight line which
is parallel with the South line of said Lots 25 and 14 and
its extension 1,447 feet more or less to the East line of
that certain 630 feet strip of land described in Parcel 2,
in the deed to the County of Orange recorded May 25, 1932,
in Book 557, Page 264, Official Records of Orange County,
California; thence in a Southwesterly direction along said
East line 570 feet more or less to its intersection with said
city boundary; thence Easterly along said city boundary 1,090
feet more or less to the point of beginning, excepting there-
from a parcel of land described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Memory Lane
located 200 feet more or less, Easterly from the point where
the center line of Memory Lane intersects the center line of

Bristol Street; thence Northerly along a line parallel to
the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 535.92
feet, more or less; thence Easterly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Memory Lane for a
distance of 357 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol
Street for a distance of 535.92 feet, more or less, to the
center line of Memory Lane; thence Westerly along the center
line of Memory Lane for a distance of 3S7 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the A'I District to the 100-C1-10,000
District, and Sectional District Map 36-4-10 (Exhibit AA 338 A) is
hereby amended to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2. ~iqlis Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of March , 1951.

Ordinance w-as regularly introduced at its regular meeting held on
the 20th day of February , 1981, and was again considered by
said Council at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of Ma~.eh
1961, and was at said meeting regularly passed and adopted by said
Council by the following vote, to-wit:
