FICATION ON AMENDs%LENT APPLICATION NO. 345 AND
A/~ENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAPS 27-5-10 AND 34-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 345 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 345, initiated by
said Commission, for a change of District classification from the
R-1 District to the M-1 District, and said Commission has recommended
approval of said Amendment Application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following Amendment and that the uses
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surround-
ing property.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. T~at the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
of Orange, State of California, described as:
PARCEL 1: Beginning at a point where the center line of
Segerstrom Avenue intersects the center line of
Fairview Street; thence Southerly along the center line
of Fairview Street for a distance of 720 feet, more or
less; thence Westerly along a line approximately parallel
with the center line of Segerstrom Avenue for a distance
of 1~115 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along a line
approximately parallel with the center line of Fairview
Street for a distance of 720 feet, more or less, to the
center line of Segerstrom Avenue; thence Easterly along
the center line of Segerstrom Avenue for a distance of
1,115 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 2: Beginning at a point on the center line of
Fairview Street located 664.07 feet, more or less, Southerly
from the point where the center line of Fairview Street
intersects the center line of Talbert Avenue; thence
Westerly along a line approximately parallel with the
center line of Talbert Avenue for a distance of 373.5 feet,
more or less; thence Northerly along the line approximately
parallel to the center line of Fairview Street for a
distance of 664.07 feet, more or less; thence Westerly
along the center line of Talbert Avenue for a distance of
741.5 feet more or less; thence Southerly along the line
approximately parallel to the center line of Fairview
Street for a distance of 1328 feet, more or less, to the

center line of proposed Talbert Avenue; thence Westerly and
Northwesterly continuing along the center line of proposed
Talbert Avenue for a distance of approximately 800 feet;
thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Fairview Street for a distance of 1,635 feet,
more or less, to the center line of Huntzinger Avenue; thence
Easterly along the center line of Huntzinger Avenue for a
distance of 771.38 feet, more or less, to the center line of
Fairview Street; thence Northerly along the center line of
Fairview Street for a distance of 198.06 feet, more or less,
to the point where the center line of Fairview Street inter-
sects the center line of WakehamAvenue; thence Northerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Fairview Street for a distance of 1,322 feet, more or less,
to the center line of proposed Talbert Avenue; thence Easterly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Talbert Avenue for a distance of 1,119 feet, more or less, to
the center line of Fairview Street; thence Northerly and
continuing along the center line of Fairview Street to the
point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the M-1 District and
Sectional District Maps 27-5-10 and 34-5-10 (Exhibit AA 345 A) are
hereby amended to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.
