SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSI-
FICATION ON ~ENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 362 AND
AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-9 (EXt~IBIT AA 362 C)
WHEREAS, .the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 362, initiated by
R. G. HOLCOMB for a change in District classification from the R-1
District to the C-2 District, and said Commission has recommended
that the change in District classification be from the R-1 District
to the R-3H District (which said R-3H District is a more restrictive
classification than the C-2 District); and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing, on
notice, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That real property in the City of Santa Ana, County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of First Street
located 250.8 feet, more or less, Westerly from the point
where the center line of First Street intersects the center
line of Tustin Avenue; thence Westerly along the center line
of First Street for a distance of 236.94 feet, more or
less; thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 619.38
feet, more or less; thence Easterly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of First Street for a
distance of 236.94 feet, more or less; thence Southerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Tustin Avenue for a distance of 619.05 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-3H District,
and Sectional District Map 8-5-9 (Exhibit AA 362 C) is hereby amended
to show said reclassification.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of October , 1961.

sidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 16th day

, 1961, and at said meeting was regularly passed and
adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
