SANTA ARA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 368
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 12-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA-368B)
WHEREAS, the Planning Ccm%mission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 368, initiated by
W. F. CRODDY for a change in District classification from the R-1
District to the C-1 District, and said Commission has recommended that
the change in District classification be from the R-1 District to the
R-lB District (which said R-lB District is a more restrictive classi-
fication than the C-1 District); and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the centerline of Louise Street
located 163 feet, more or less, Southerly from the point
where the centerline of Louise Street intersects the
centerline of Seventeenth Street; thence Easterly along
a line approximately parallel to the centerline of
Seventeenth Street for a distance of 354.3 feet, more or
less, to the centerline of Baker Street; thence Southerly
along the centerline of Baker Street for a distance of
60 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along a line
approximately parallel to the centerline of Seventeenth
Street for a distance of 179.6 feet, more or less; thence
Southerly along a line approximately parallel to the
centerline of Louise Street for a distance of 15.feet,
more or less; thence Westerly along a line approximately
parallel to the centerline of Seventeenth Street for a
distance of 174.61 feet, more or less, to the centerline
of Louise Street; thence Northerly along the centerline
of Louise Street for a distance of 75 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-lB District,
and Sectional District Map 12-5-10 (Exhibit AA 368B) is hereby amended
to show said reclassification.

SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of Januar~ , 1962.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of

considered by said Council at its regular'meeting held on the 2nd
day of January , 1962, and at said meeting was regularly passed
