SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO PREZONE AND ESTABLISH
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION
NO. 375 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
36-4-10 (EXHIBIT AA 375A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 375 initiated by
D. P. LEONARD to prezone certain land not as yet annexed to the City
of Santa Ana and presently situated in the County of Orange, and
said Commission has recommended approval of said Amendment Application;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general
welfare require the following amendment, and that the use under the new
classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the County of Orange,
State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Memory Lane
located 1043 feet, more or less, Easterly from the point
where the center line of Memory Lane intersects the
center line of Bristol Street; thence Easterly along the center
line of Memory Lane for a distance of 56 feet, more or less;
thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 217.8 feet,
more or less; thence Easterly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Memory Lane for a distance
of 230 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Freeman Lane
for a distance of 382.2 feet, more or less; thence Westerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Memory Lane for a distance of 386 feet, more or less; thence
Southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Bristol Street for a distance of 382.2 feet, more or
less; thence Easterly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Memory Lane for a distance of 100 feet,
more or less; thence Southerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance
of 217.$ feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
and presently classified as being in the Orange County A-1 District,
is hereby prezoned as being of the City of Santa Ana's R-4 District,
and Sectional District Map 36-4-10 (Exhibit AA 375A) is hereby amended
to show said classification. Said prezoning and classification shall

become effective whensoever in the future any of the hereinabove
described property is annexed to the City of Santa Ana.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
