SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 378
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-9
(EXHIBIT AA 378 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Co~unission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 378, initiated by
CLARK J. BONNER for a change in District classification from the R-1
District to the C-5 and R-4 Districts, and said commission has recom-
~mended approval of said Amendment Application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use
under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That real property in the City of Santa Aha, County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning a~ a point on the center line of Seventeenth
Street located 415.4 feet, more or less, Westerly from
that point where the center line of Seventeenth Street
intersects the Center line of Mabury Street; thence
Southerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Mabury Street for a distance of 249.4 feet,
more or less; thence Westerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a
distance of 390.4 feet, more or less; thence Northerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Llnwood Avenue for a distance of 249.4 feet, more or
less, to the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence
Easterly, continuing along the center line of Seventeenth
Street for a distance of 390.4 feet, more or less, to the
point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District, and
Sectional District Map 8-5-9 (Exhibit AA 378 A) is hereby amended to
show said reclassification.
SECTION 2. That real property in the City of Santa Ana, County
of Orange, State of California, described as:

Beginning at the Southwest corner of that parcel of real
property hereinabove described, the same being 249.4 feet,
more or less, Southerly from the center line of Seventeenth
Street; thence Easterly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of
390.4 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Mabury Street
for a distance of 291.3 feet, more or less; thence Westerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Seventeenth Street for a distance of 392.9 feet, more or
less; thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Mabury Street for a distance of 291
feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-4 District, and
Sectional District Map 8-5-9 (Exhibit AA 378 A) is hereby amended to
show said reclassification.
SECTION 3. TgliS Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
from and after the date of its adoption.

the Council of the City of Santa Aha, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 5th day of March, 1962, and was again considered
by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of
March , 1962, and at said meeting was regularly passed and
adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
