SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSI-
FICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 415 AND AMENDING
SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 12-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 415 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application 415, initiated by the
SANTA ANA BOARD OF EDUCATION for a change in District classification
from the R-2 and C-1 Districts to the C-5 District, and said Commission
has recommended approval of said Araendment Application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point where the center line of Durant
Street intersects the center line of Sixteenth Street;
thence Northerly, along the center line of Durant Street
for a distance of 400 feet, more or less, to the center
line of Seventeenth Street; thence Westerly along the
center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 425 feet,
more or less, to the center line of Ross Street; thence
Southerly along the center line of Ross Street for a distance
of 400 feet, more or less, to the center line of Sixteenth
Street; thence Easterly along the center line of Sixteenth
Street for a distance of 425 feet, more or less, to the point
of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-2 and C-1 Districts to the C-5
District, and Sectional DiStrict Map 12-5-10 (Exhibit AA 415 A) is
hereby amended to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
fro~ and after the date of its adoption.
