THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, the City has prohibited or restricted parking on
First Street between Townsend Street and Broadway to provide for a
freer flow of traffic in said area which will make it extremely
dangerous and very difficult to back on to First Street, and businesses
along said Street should provide for circulation within their properties
so that cars can drive forward into the traffic flow of First Street to
protect the public life and health and safety of traffic on entering
said area.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That Section 7216 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code
is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof a new sub-section in
words and figures, as follows:
" E. The provisions of sub-section C. (a) and (b) hereof
shall not apply to West First Street between Broadway and
Townsend Street, and, in lieu of said provisions, said area
shall be regulated by the following provisions:

(al) Less than 49 feet One
(b2) 49 feet to 199 feet Two
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of February, 1963.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 4th day of February, 1963, and was again
considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 18th
day of February, 1963, and at said meeting was regularly passed and
adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
