THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 426
AND~IENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 426 B)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 426, initiated by
OLIVER M. HILL for a change in District classification from the R-1
District to the C-1 District, and said Commission has reco~mended
denial of said change as requested, but has recommended that the
property involved be reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-1
and R-lB Districts in accordance with Exhibit AA 426 B; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Parcel 1: Beginning at a point where the center line of
~olsa Avenue intersects the center line of Maxine Street;
thence Northerly along the center line of Maxine Street
for a distance of 163.2 feet, more or less; thence
Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 190 feet, more or
less; thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Maxine Street for a distance of
66.8 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Bolsa Avenue
for a distance of 305 feet, more or less; thence Southerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Maxine Street for a distance of 230 feet, more or less,
to the center line of Bolsa Avenue; thence Easterly along
the center line of Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 495 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning,

reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-1 District, and
District Map 8-5-10 (Exhibit AA 426 B) is hereby amended to
reclassification.
SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Parcel 2: Beginning at a point on the center line of Maxine
Street located 163.2 feet, more or less, Northerly from
that point where the center line of Maxine Street intersects
the center line of Bolsa Avenue; thence Northerly along the
center line of Maxine Street for a distance of 50 feet,
more or less; thence Westerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Bolsa Avenue for a distance
of 190 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Maxine Street
for a distance of 50 feet, more or less; thence Easterly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 190 feet, more or less, to
the center line of Maxine Street and the point of
beginning;

Parcel 3: Beginning at a point located 190 feet, more or
less, Westerly fro~ the center line of Maxine Street,
the same being 230 feet, more or less, NorthErly from
the center line of Bolsa Avenue; thence Northerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Maxine Street for a distance of 100 feet, more or less;
thence Westerly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 305
feet, more or less; thence Southerly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Maxine Street for
a distance of 100 feet, more or less; thence Easterly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Bolsa Avenue, the same being the Northerly boundary of
Parcel 1 as hereinabove described, for a distance of
305 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,

reclassification.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of M~ch , 1963.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 4th day of March, 1963, and was again considered
by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of
M~ch , 1963, and at said meeting was regularly passed and
adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
