SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 430
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 13-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 430A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 430, initiated by
ALBERT GOTTLIEB for a change in District classifications from the
R-1 and C-5 Districts to the R-3 District, and said Commission has
recommended approval of said Amendment Application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: 'l~nat the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Brook Street
located 230 feet Easterly from that point where the
center line of Brook Street intersects the center line
of Bristol Street; thence Northerly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for
a distance of 165 feet, more or less; thence Westerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Brook Street for a distance of 100 feet, more or less;
thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of
165 feet, more or less, to the center line of Brook
Street; thence Easterly along the center line of Brook
Street for a distance of 100 feet, more or less, to the
point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 and C-5 Districts to the R-3
District and Sectional District Map 13-5-10 (Exhibit AA 430A) is
hereby amended to show said reclassification.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of April, 1963.
