NS-644 ~ENDING SECTION 9230.126 OF THE SA~fA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE REGULATING HEIGHT LIMITS IN THE R-4 (SUBURBAN APARTMENT) DISTRICT WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has duly held a public hearing on notice on the proposed amendment of Section 9230.126 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, which Section regulates Height limits in the R-4 (Suburban Apartment) District, and said Commission has recommended the adoption of said amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the adoption of the following amendment to the Santa Ana Municipal Code. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That Section 9230.126 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: SECTION 9230.126. Heiqht Limit. (a) None except as limited in subsection (b) hereinbelow. (b) When a lot in the R 4 District is within one huhdred and fifty (150) ~feet from property zoned A 1, RE, or R 1, on said R 4 lot no main buildings shall exceed one (1) story and said one (1) story shall not exceed twenty (20) feet in height. Furthermore, when a lot in the R 4 District is within three hundred (300) feet of property zoned A 1, RE, or R 1 on said R 4 lot no main buildings shall exceed three (3) stories and said three (3) stories shall not exceed fifty (50) feet in height. SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of its adoption.
