TERRITORY DESIGNATED "EAST FIRST STREET ANNEX NO. 3"
WHEREAS, on May 6th, 1963, the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha declared its intention to annex uninhabited territory by
Resolution No. 63-81, which said Resolution was regularly published
as required by law and gave notice of a protest hearing to be held
June 17th, 1963, which hearing was regularly held; and after final
adjournment of said hearing on protests, it was found and declared
by Resolution 63-105 that a majority protest had not been made.
NOW, THEPdEFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That it finds and declares that said territory
hereinbelow described was uninhabited at the time Resolution
No. 63-81 was adopted initiating this proceeding, was contiguous to
the City of Santa Ana and shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness
of the City existing at the time of this annexation.
SECTION 2: That all of the territory situated in the County
of Orange, State of California, and described as:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the East half of
Block "C" of the Stafford and Tustin Tract as shown on
a map thereof recorded in Book 2, Pages 618 and 619 of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California,
said corner being an angle point on the existing boundary
of the City of Santa Ana, as established by the "East
First Street No. 1 Annex", said corner being on the South
line of East First Street, said South line bieng 33.00 feet
South, measured at right angles, from the center line of
East First Street, said corner being East 1,378 feet,
more or less, from the Southerly extension of the center
line of Mabury Street, measured along said South line, and
running thence South 0° 27' 15" East, 985.05 feet along
the West line of said East half of Lot "C" of said
Stafford and Tustin Tract, and along said boundary of the
City of Santa Aha to a point on the North line of that
certain property conveyed to the State of California by
deed recorded July 12, 1954, in Book 2768, Page 59 of
Official Records of Orange County, California, and to an
angle point in said East First Street No. 1 Annex and to
a point in a curve concave Northeasterly, having a radius
of 1,920.00 feet. A radial to saidcurve at said point
bears North 28° 21' 36" East; thence, departing from said
City Boundary Northwest along ~aid curve through a central
angle of 12 46' 00", an arc distance of 427.82 feet to a
radial bearing North 41° 07' 36" East, and to a point on
the East line of Block "B" of said Stafford and Tustin
Tract; thence, along said West line South 0° 29' 35" East,
490 feet, more or less, to the Southeast corner of said
Block "B"; thence, West 350 feet, more or less, along the
South line of said Block "B" to an angle point in said City
Boundary as established by Ordinance No. NS-297 and to the
Southwest corner of Lot 4 of Tract No. 24 as shown on a map
thereof recorded in Book 9, Page 23, Miscellaneous
Records of said Orange County; thence, North along the East
boundary of said Ordinance No. NS-297 Annex and along the
West line of Lots 2 and 4 of said Tract No. 24 a distance
of 1,014.13 feet, more or less, to a point which is South
220.73 feet, more or less, from the North line of said
Block "B" and to the Southerly corner of land conveyed to
Lawrence A. Whitesides by deed recorded August 21, 1961,
in Book 5821, Page 954, Official Records of said Orange
County; thence, North 30° 01' 22" West 121.29 feet, along
said City Boundary; thence North 8° 43' 22" West 69.15
feet, along said City Boundary; thence North 47° 16' 59" East
69.57 feet, along said City Boundary to a point on the
North line of said Block "B" and to the Northeast corner of
land annexed by said Ordinance No. NS-297; thence, East
along said North line of Block "B" and Block "C" 706.38
feet, more or less, and along said City Boundary to the
point of beginning,
be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Santa Ana and to
Ward No. 1 in said City, and said annexation is by this Ordinance
effected and declared. For the purpose of tax segregation of this
territory, the designation that applies is "Santa Aha City - 1957
and 1958 Annexes".
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of July, 1963.

the Council of the City of Santa Aha, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council
of said City held on the 17th day of June, 1963, and was again
considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 1st day
of July, 1963, and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted
by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
