SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION
NO. 442 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
24-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 442 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 442, filed by
DR. LOCK GEE DING for a change in District classification from the
R-1 District to the P District, and said Commission has recommended
approval of said reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendment and that the
use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Broadway
intersects the center line of Pomona Street; thence
Northerly along the center line of Broadway for a distance
of 705.7 feet, more or less, to that point where said
center line intersects the center line of Edinger Avenue;
thence Westerly along the center line of Edinger Avenue
for a distance of 155 feet, more or less; thence Southerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Broadway for a distance of 705.7 feet, more or less,
to the center line of Pomona Street; thence Easterly
along the center line of Pomona Street for a distance of
155 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the P District,
and Sectional District Map 24-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with E~hibit AA 442 A.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of July, 1963.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council
held on the 1st day of July, 1963, and was again considered by said
Council at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of July, 1963,
and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted by said Council
