SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION
NO. 447 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
5-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 447 B)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 447, filed by
EUGENE GOODFRIEND for a change in District classification from the
A-1 District to the R-1 District, and said Cc~mission has recommended
approval of Exhibit AA 447 B which provides for a minimum lot size
(60 foot width, 7200 square foot area); and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
area.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point on the center line of Fairhaven
Avenue located 616.1 feet, more or less, easterly from
that point where the center line of Fairhaven Avenue
intersects the center line of Grand Avenue; thence
southerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 696.2 feet,
more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Fairhaven Avenue for a
distance 321.3 feet, more or less; thence northerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Grand
Avenue for a distance of 696.2 feet, more or less, to the
center line of Fairhaven Avenue; thence easterly along the
center line of Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of 321.3 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the 60-R1-7200
District, and Sectional District Map 5-5-9 is hereby amended to show
said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 447 B.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
