SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION
NO. 451 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
14-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 451 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 451,filed by
L. M. DUNTLEY for a change in District classification from the R-1
District to the R-2 District, and said Commission has recommended
approval of said reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point on the center line of Raitt Street
located 171 feet, more or less, southerly frc~ that point
where the center line of Raitt Street intersects the center
line of Pine Street; thence southerly along the center line
of Raitt Street for a distance of 225 feet, more or less;
thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Pine Street for a distance of 473.4 feet,
more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Raitt Street for a distance
of 225 feet, more or less, to the center line of an alley;
thence westerly along the center line of said alley for a
distance of 473.4 feet, mc~e or less, to the center line of
Raitt Street and the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-2 District,
and Sectional District Map 14-5-10 is hereby sanended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 451 A.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 19th ~ ~f August, 1963.

the Council of the City of Santa Ana, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 5th day of August, 1963, and was again con-
sidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 19th day
of August, 1963, and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted
by said Council by the following vote, to wit:
