SANTA ANA M~QICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON ~ENDIv~NT APPLICATION
NO. 468 AND ~ENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
16-5-10 (E~IBIT AA 468 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 468, filed by
JOHNS~ KLASSEN for a change in district classification from the
A-1 District to the R-2 District and said Commission has recommended
approval of said reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of McFadden Avenue
located 150 feet, more or less, easterly from that point
where the center line of i~cFadden Avenue intersects the
center line of Newhope Street; thence easterly along the
center line of i~lcFadden Avenue for a distance of 286.9 feet,
more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Newhope Street for a distance
of 391.7 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of McFadden Avenue
for a distance of 286.9 feet, more or less; thence southerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Newhope Street for a distance of 391.7 feet, more or less,
to the center line of McFadden Avenue and the point of
beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the R-2 District and
Sectional District Map 16-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 468 A.
SECTION 2: 'l~at this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
