SANTA ANA MLrNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION
NO. 469 AND ~ENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
23-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 469 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 469, filed by
FRANCIS E. PENHALL for a change in district classification from the
R-2 District to the C-5 District, and said Commission has recommended
approval of said reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Edinger Avenue
located 150 feet, more or less, westerly from that point
where the center line of Edinger Avenue intersects the
center line of Greenville Street; thence westerly along the
center line of Edinger Avenue for a distance of 162.1 feet,
more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Diamond Street for a distance
of 141 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Edinger Avenue
for a distance of 129.7 feet, more or less; thence north-
easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Greenville Street for a distance of 145.4 feet, more
or less, to the center line of Edinger Avenue and the point
of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the C-5 District and
Sectional District Map 23-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 469 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of October, 1963.
