THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION
OF THE CALIFORNIA STATE EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT
SYSTEM
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That an amendment to the contract between the
City Council of the City of Santa Aha and the Board of Administra-
tion, California State Employees3 Retirement System is hereby
authorized to include in said Contract the provisions of Government
Code Section 20834.1, a copy of said amendment being attached
hereto, marked "Exhibit A", and by this reference is made a part
hereof as though herein set out in full.
SECTION 2: The Mayor of said City Council is hereby
authorized, empowered and directed to execute said amendment for
and on behalf of said Agency, and the Clerk of the Council is
directed to attest the same.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
after the date of its adoption, and prior to fifteen days from the
passage thereof shall be published at least once in The Register,
a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the
City of Santa Aha, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
SECTION 4: The Amendment to the Contract herein provided
for shall take effect on the 1st day of ~P~ii'~ 1964.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of February, 1964.

the Council of the City of Santa Ana, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 20th day of January, 1964, and was again con-
sidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day
of February, 1964, and at said meeting was regularly passed and
adopted by said Council by the following vote, to wit:
